Refuge de l'Onda (Petra Piana> l'Onda: outward: 4:50; return: 5:15) Two possibilities are available to you: either by the valley following the GR which descends along the Manganellu river. It is a quiet stage, you will walk in the forest in the lower part and take advantage of the natural pools and pools which, at every turn of the trail offer the hiker the temptation to swim. Or the variant by the ridges (beware the markup becomes yellow!). We strongly draw your attention to the fact that this second route, which is certainly shorter, can only be considered in safe weather; do not risk it neither in high winds nor in case of thunderstorms !!!! It is a site with strong pastoral activity that awaits you at the Onda refuge, certainly small since it offers only 16 beds inside but which offers a large bivouac area very flat and very green.
