Located on the Transhumance Trail, a thousand-year-old path once used by shepherds, the Puscaghja Refuge is a little architectural gem made of dry stone, a building that looks like a story for a child with its thatched roof and its welcoming surroundings. The stage is set ; everything is an invitation to idleness in this high place of island pastoralism witness to the hard working life of the Corsican shepherds.
