Refuge d'Asinau (Usciolu> Asinau: 8h) This stage is quite impressive with its steep climb at the start of the route to reach the Alcudina from where you will enjoy a very beautiful view. Course without too much difficulty, the crest section to reach the refuge is quite tedious and requires some caution. It is recommended to leave early because the stage is long. Asinau (alt 1530 m). (Tent rental and bivouac area only) Interest: Pass by the highest peak in South Corsica, Monte Alcudina which rises to 2134 meters, view of the famous Bavedda needles, crossing the Cuscionu plateau. One of the longest stages of the GR20.
